Third training camp and the hard decisions

Next week we know the roster of the national team. Eight hours of field time during the weekend is what is left for every one of us to show what we’re made of. Then it’s up to the coaches to decide.

For some of us next week will fly by easily as its time to find affordable flights to Vancouver. For some, there will suddenly be a lot more free time. If I’m not part of the team, my plan for the next week is:

1. Reserve a vacation for three weeks to Cuba with the money and vacation reserved for the trip to WUGC2008
2. Come up with something to do every Wednesday (beach volley?)
3. Fill every weekend suddenly free from training camps and tournaments with festivals

At least I think I will. But most likely the flights to Cuba are fully booked, Wednesdays will be spent on the gym, and there are no interesting bands on the festivals

Fitness tests

30m, 60m, long jump with no speed, quintuple jump with no speed and 400m.

It was raining a bit. It was hard to stay warm. But every one did what they had to do.
