About the Team

We are the Finnish women’s national ultimate team going to the World Ultimate and Guts Championships 2008 in Vancouver!

Our goal is to bring home a medal for Finland this August. The members of our team come from the southern and central parts of Finland: Helsinki, Espoo, Turku and Tampere. They represent the best mixture of talented, dedicated, and mentally tough players in the country. Finland is the European Champion (Great Britain/Southampton 2007) and won silver in the last World Championships on our home ground (Finland/Turku 2004). Now we’re ready to bring the Finnish “sisu” on the field again! Last but not least we hope to see great ultimate during the tournament and the best of Canada afterwards!
